In the 1994 film “Forrest Gump,” the main character says, “Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re going to get.”
I guess you could say that if you do not look at the menu printed on the box. But sometimes, it is a much more enjoyable experience not to look at the menu and just discover the flavours and textures of each chocolate as you look at the shape and style of each one.
The same can be said of life. Take what comes and enjoy it, whatever it is. You never know when you will get a hard and crunchy chocolate, or a soft one. A crunchy hard chocolate can translate into a challenge, a soft creamy one into a period of ease and relaxation.
What is important to realize is that there is no menu printed in your life. You may have plans and desires, but they are not written anywhere and plans rarely work out as you hoped they would. As they say in the military – “A battle plan never survives first contact with the enemy.”
Adapt and change your plans, hopes, and expectations as you move from one day to the next.
But here is the thing: your guides are with you throughout your life, they love and care for you, but you need to listen to them as they guide you through life. Follow your intuition. It is a way for your angels and guides to speak to you, guide you, help you succeed, or not make an error.
As you grow more sensitive to your intuition and see how it works for you, you will draw closer to your guides and, in time, you will get to know them and be able to interact with them. More options will open up to you as you get to know your guides. It will not be a map of your life from now on that they will offer, but more clarity and a greater sense of why and how things happen and progress as they do.
Now is the time to be open and accepting of your guides first through your intuition, later as you grow more open to them, a sense of purpose and how your life develops.
